Deruta is located just 15 minutes from the most important cultural centers of the region. City can be considered to all effects in the center of Umbria either in geographical than in cultural terms. L'Antico Forziere is ideally located to reach all the places of interest.
Few kilometers from L'Antico Forziere is possibile to visit the most beautiful and charming cities of art of the region like Perugia, Assisi, Spoleto, Gubbio, Spello, Todi, Orvieto and many other smaller towns such as Scarzuola, Bevagna, Montefalco, Rasiglia (the ``Village of Streams``), Cascia, Norcia and ``Civita di Bagnoregio``.
Hilltop position of L'Antico Forziere also encourages pleasant walks in the surrounding valley, mountain bike itineraries and horseback riding. Rafting and hydrospeed, in the nearby Valnerina, give strong emotions.
Roads of Flavors in Umbria (Wine roads & Oil Roads), cold cuts, mushrooms and black truffle (Norcia), lentils (Castelluccio) and red potatoes (Colfiorito), saffron (Cascia) and many other typical productions make the entire Umbria region like a food & wine museum.
Roads of cashmere (Brunello Cucinelli) and Roads of ceramic are also a great excellence of our region.
